What You Will Do
Our Transportation Business Unit is currently seeking a Transportation Project Manager to provide roadway design oversight and serve as a task leader in our Baltimore, MD office.
The successful candidate shall have a minimum of 10 -16 years of progressive design and task management experience in roadway/traffic engineering design and project engineering experience for highway, interchange, and urban roadway design services to public clients. Experience should consist of overseeing the development of roadway design plan production, including the development of horizontal and vertical geometry, preparation of plan and profile sheets, typical sections, roadway cross sections, maintenance of traffic plans, coordinating with other disciplines and subconsultants. The candidate should also possess good technical, leadership, managerial, and communication skills. The candidate should have existing client relationships and possess ability to make decisions regarding project development. Additionally, they should be able to motivate junior design staff, working well in a team environment. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day management and execution of assigned projects, lead and support for business development opportunities and financial management of projects.
