What You Will Do

Gannett Fleming Project Development Corporation (GFPDC) is looking for a driven and talented individual to join our Engineer Procure and Construction (EPC) contracting team in Camp Hill, PA. We rely on our project manager assistants to aid and advance our team to produce high quality results for our construction clients.

As a Project Manager Assistant, you will need to be a dynamic communicator with the ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively. You must be able to organize projects and materials, in addition to having strong business, computer, and writing skills.

Our team will need you to serve as an assistant to our project managers and as a database manager.  You will interface with our clients, subcontractors and venders; reviewing and processing requests for information, payments, correspondence, daily reports and other project documents. As a Project Manager Assistant, you will be assisting our Contracts Manager with the execution of tasks involved with completing and documenting projects.

Specific tasks include:

  • Assist Contract Manager is project accounting
  • Assist Contract Manager in generation of subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Assist Contract Manager in project closeout accounting and documentation
  • Receive and process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Daily filing
  • Issue weekly staff schedule
  • Provide staff meeting agendas, staff meeting minutes and distribute as needed
  • Prepare reports using GF’s accounting system (BST) and GF’s management system (Procore) as requested by management
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Monitor contractor compliance with signed contracts and insurances
  • Maintain contact directory
  • Process invoices for payment
  • Submit Prevailing Wage Reports
  • Process company credit applications
  • Generate and issue Client Satisfaction Evaluations
  • Update Project Profile Database
  • Maintain compliance with various state DOT prequalifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in contracting or construction management support operations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Effective communicator, written and verbal
  • Valid driver’s license;
  • Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test and Background Screening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Construction experience including estimating, bidding, contract preparation, scheduling, cost control, etc.
  • Familiarity with construction contracting software, such as, ProCore, AutoCAD, P6, Timberline, etc.
