What You Will Do

Gannett Fleming is looking for a HR Administrative Assistant for our Camp Hill, PA office. Come join the team today!

Basic function and scope of responsibilities

  1. Provides direct support to the VP, Director of Human Resources, managers, and staff of the Human Resources Department.
  2. Responds to unemployment claims after following up as necessary to confirm or obtain information, handling hearing notifications - assisting with hearing preparation, communication and coordination.
  3. Reviews contract requirements regarding background checks, communicates with clients, submitting request, providing confirmation letters, etc.
  4. Provide Customer Support to internal and external clients as main point of contact for the HR Department.

Principal Responsibilities and essential functions

  • Provide direct support to the VP, Director of Human Resources, and staff of the Human Resources Department;
  • Respond to unemployment claims, handling hearing notifications;
  • Lead or assist in corporate sponsored activities including collecting and tracking payments;
  • Process background checks required for contracts;
  • Serve as main point of contact for the department – greet visitors, answer phone calls, process mail;
  • Respond to employment verification requests and investigations;
  • Make travel arrangements;
  • Order supplies; and
  • Prepare check requests for payment to vendors for services.


Minimum Qualifications

Education and Licensing requirements

An Associates degree or equivalent experience. 

Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or experience 

  • 5-10 years administrative experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

General Office work environment.  Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
