What You Will Do

Our business and technology solutions team provides advisory services that improve the performance of infrastructure assets. Our mission is to partner with infrastructure owners and service providers to improve mobility, reliability, safety, and security. Our focus is on improving outcomes and delivering value to our clients. We work at the policy, management, and operational levels. Our projects typically include some combination of the following: organizational change, business process improvement, capital plan/program development, maintenance management, and technology development. We apply qualitative and quantitative information to improve decision-making.

Gannett Fleming is looking for an ambitious, self-starter to join our Business and Technology Solutions team as a Transporation Analyst focused primarily on engagements supporting public sector clients in the area of transportation infrastructure. Successful candidates will have strong critical thinking skills and the desire to expand their expertise in areas that include infrastructure performance, capital planning and prioritization, maintenance management, or asset management for transportation infrastructure. This is an opportunity to leverage your technical knowledge in collaboration with clients and colleagues as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team. Our team of consultants are problem solvers that combine excellent analytical skills with innovation to deliver at the highest level for our clients. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing tasks and projects on client engagements
  • Providing expertise on a range of infrastructure management and business improvement projects.
  • Supporting business development efforts by assisting in the creation of proposals and collateral, participating in client visits, and attending conferences and other events.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree with a major in public administration, economics, engineering, management, planning or similar degree.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years professional experience in the transportation sector or infrastructure sector.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field strongly preferred (economics, engineering, management science, public administration, or related field.)
  • Experience in infrastructure management, desirable is a focus on asset management planning and knowledge of standards including PAS-55 and ISO: 55001
  • Experience with maintenance and operations is preferred (either as an owner - or through consulting assignments) – but not required, must be able to apply infrastructure management knowledge in the transportation sector;
  • Experience with infrastructure management systems and associated data management highly desirable
  • Ambition and demonstrated ability for rapid advancement to take on leadership roles on engagements.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced multidisciplinary environment
  • Ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, works well within a team and high emotional IQ
  • Ability to travel
