Our Environmental Management & Natural Resources Group is looking for a Senior Environmental Scientist, Biologist or Ecologist reporting to our Camp Hill, PA or Denver, CO offices to work on a wide variety of projects involving wetlands, intermountain west wildlands, ecological studies and permitting for a variety of public and private sector clients. Come join our team!

This is an hourly (approximately 16 hours per week) position. Hours may be increased or decreased depending upon business demand. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Wetland and waterway delineations
  • Ecological studies involving wildlife, protected species, and recovery plans
  • Botanical surveys and habitat analyses
  • Technical report writing
  • Reviewing federal, state, and local regulations and preparing permit applications
  • GIS data analysis using ARCGIS 
  • Occasional travel to remote locations for field assignments


Job Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology or related field
  • 8-15 years of experience in ecology, field biology, botany, and wetland science
  • Experience with NEPA and state/federal permitting is desired
  • GIS data collection and analysis using ARCGIS preferred
  • Ability to gather and analyze data critically and develop supporting information and reports
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as individually
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Must possess strong field skills
