Gannett Fleming's construction management professionals provide services on projects ranging from highway, bridge, and transit to buildings and municipal infrastructure, including drinking water and sanitary systems. Recently, Engineering News Record (ENR) named Gannett Fleming in the top 50 firms for providing Construction Management.

We are seeking a Resident Engineer for  large transportation projects located throughout New Jersey or the Philadelphia area.

Duties and responsibilities include: overall responsibility for the construction management of the project; the maintenance of construction project records; interaction  with the client and  inspection staff on various facets of the project including contract change orders, item payments, and material testing;. conducting Project meetings and preparing meeting minutes; preparing  monthly progress reports.


Job Requirements



  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Structural or Construction Engineering
  • Professional Engineering License in New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania
  • Prior Experience as Assistant Resident Engineer or Resident Engineer  i
  • Prior experience with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, Delaware River Port Authority and/or Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission is preferred
  • Rutgers TCC, NJSAT, ACI certifications all desirable
