Our firm’s Water/Wastewater Practice, currently comprised of nearly 150 professionals, evaluates and optimizes the ability of all types and sizes of water and wastewater facilities in order for our clients to successfully satisfy state and U.S. EPA regulations. Current technologies and a green approach are utilized to achieve innovative and practical designs. Key projects include master planning/studies, sustainable building design, treatment, water transmission and distribution, wastewater collection and conveyance, wastewater reclamation and reuse, bio solids and residuals management industrial pretreatment, modeling, and instrumentation/SCADA. Many of our projects have won state and national awards and the volume of our work routinely ranks us among the top 20 U.S. water supply firms, top 30 “pure designers,” and top 40 “green design” firms according to ENR. Additionally, our professionals serve a multitude of local, state, national, and international organizations as active community participants.

Our Miami, FL office has an excellent career opportunity for a  Project Manager in our Water / Wastewater Practice. We offer a full range of planning, design, construction, permitting and program and construction management services across the water and wastewater industry, including water supply planning, water storage and transmission, water quality management planning, water treatment and distribution, and wastewater collection sewers and pumping stations, treatment and disposal.

Successful candidates will use their technical abilities to assist in the design and construction of municipal facilities in a dynamic team setting as well as to mentor junior staff. 


Job Requirements

  • BS in Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering (MS is preferred).
  • 6-10 years of experience in water and wastewater discipline, including program management, capital improvement planning, master planning, design, and construction oversight of water/wastewater pumping stations and treatment facilities and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in leading particularly large diameter water /waste water pipeline utilities and pumping station projects a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in the state of Florida is required.
