What You Will Do

As Digital Communications Coordinator, you will support the Digital Communications Manager and the firm’s digital efforts. You will assist with the creation of relevant, original, and high-quality content for Gannett Fleming’s LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram channels. The successful candidate will have demonstrated a high attention to detail and the ability to multitask while focusing on accuracy and consistency. Responsibilities will include record-keeping/management/organization of our social media tracker and making daily updates to the posting schedule, management/organization of all associated digital files/folders, processing submitted social media request forms and handling email requests, researching any missing background/event information/handles/tags, etc. for the creation of social media posts, and coordinating with our marketing representatives on upcoming conferences, events, etc. This position will be based in our Camp Hill, PA office. 

The successful Digital Communications Coordinator will also train under the Digital Communications Specialist to be able to write and post copy to the firm’s social media channels (in absence of the Digital Communications Specialist and Manager). The candidate also will assist with weekly reporting, developing and sending legal notifications and follow-up campaign performance emails.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in corporate communications, public relations, or journalism
  • 1-3 years of proven working experience in corporate communications
  • Strong knowledge of AP Style writing
  • Experience with writing for the web and digital promotions, including related social media content
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written format
  • Positive attitude, detail and client-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • Team player with the confidence to take the lead when necessary (i.e. content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management)
  • Exceeds at building and maintaining professional relationships, demonstrating excellent communication skills
  • Practices superior time management and the determination of priorities
  • Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side, with ability to demonstrate why his/her ideas are analytically sound.
